Thermhik CT
Cryogenic Flexible Aerogel Insulation Sheet (With Vapor Barrier)
Thermhik CT is a low-density, high-performance flexible aerogel insulation sheet specifically developed for LNG, liquid oxygen / nitrogen pipelines, and cryogenic tanks (−200 °C).
Featuring a factory-integrated aluminium foil lamination, Thermhik CT completely eliminates the need for an additional vapour barrier in standard installations. The laminate and core combination prevents condensation (cryogenic sweating) and icing on very cold surfaces.
Compared with conventional cold-insulation materials (PIR, cellular glass), Thermhik CT provides equivalent thermal performance at a significantly reduced thickness; it remains flexible and shows improved resistance to vibration and cracking, which facilitates installation and supports a longer service life.

Key Benefits
-
Cryogenic Super Insulation: Superior performance in cold conditions (lambda ≤ 0.014 W/mK at -129°C) ensures maximum protection with minimum thickness.
-
Zero Permeability: Integrated aluminum foil ensures a water vapor transmission rate of 0.00 Perms, completely stopping moisture ingress and icing.
-
Corrosion Protection: Low chloride content (<10 ppm) and hydrophobic core prevent stress corrosion cracking in stainless steel pipes.
-
Lightweight: Low density (150 kg/m³) reduces the dead load on tanks and piping systems compared to traditional insulation.
-
Easy Installation: Supplied in Flexible Sheet form, allowing for quick application without the mess of cutting rolls.
Applications
-
LNG / LPG Facilities: Pipelines, valves, and storage tanks.
-
Liquid Gases: Liquid Nitrogen (LN₂), Liquid Oxygen (LOx), Argon lines.
-
Cold Chain: Pharmaceutical and food transport containers.
-
Industrial Cooling: Chiller lines and cooling towers.
